“And then when we finally get started to put the band together, it was like, let’s call it Das Klown, you know? So we did that. And then we were practicing and we had some songs. We were getting ready to play at a party and I was like, I’m gonna get a ball and cut a hole in it, tie it to my face, you know. And I did that and I was like, man, that was good. It was like Halloween, you know. It’s like I became like there was no longer being, like, shy or like stage fright. It was like I was a superhero.”
